Overview:
Marc JacobsInternational, powered bythe creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks aTemp –Wholesaleto join the Wholesale Teambased in our New York City (SoHo) headquarters
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Head of Wholesale to generate forecast reports and contribute to budget planning both internally and for client accounts.
- Utilize historical data, including last year (LY) and last last year (LLY), to assess performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct quantitative analysis aimed at enhancing top-line profitability, identifying new revenue opportunities, and mitigating potential risks.
- Work closely with Account Executives to develop seasonal strategies and create pre-season plans that are aligned with company growth objectives.
- Generate ad hoc reports by analyzing sales, stock levels, sell-through rates, door performance, and productivity metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Analyze receipt flows for each season and develop various sales, gross margin, and profitability scenarios to support decision-making processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years retail/wholesale planning experience in luxury/fashion industry
- Must be self-motivated and a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Exceptional analytical and Retail Math skills required
- Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:
The compensation for this position ranges from $35-$40(hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. When applicable, When applicable, we offer our employees a benefits package including medical insurance, and 401k matching. MJ employees also receive discounts on MJ products throughout the year.
